Lamborghini Huracan Performanté

The Lamborghini Huracan LP 640-4 Performanté is a rare sight in the UK, with just over 300 registered. This particular car in the non too subtle  “Verde Mantis”, complete with Sportivo Nero Alcantara interior, came to us for extensive detailing, ceramic coating, a roof wrap and tinted windows.

When first launched in 2017, the Performanté took the world by storm when it became the fastest production car to date around the infamous Nürburgring. The lap time of 6 minutes, 52.01 seconds was achieved with a 5.2l V10 putting down 640bhp, intelligent four wheel drive system and active aerodynamics. The Performanté weighs in a useful 40 kg lighter than the standard Huracan, and is possibly one of the best Lamborghini road cars made to date.

Here you see the roof vinyl wrap being installed. The area is prepared to an almost clinical standard of cleanliness. the material is sized and settled into place, the edges are then tucked and wrapped out of sight, giving the neatest, safest and most secure installation possible.

Window tints being installed. The interior door panel is removed to achieve the neatest and most secure installation possible.

This is our previous ramp setup. While not as refined as our new flush ramp installation, our previous setup still demonstrated our commitment to handling vehicles in the correct way. It allowed us access to all areas of the vehicle at a comfortable height, creating the best possible working environment.

Having the correct tools is vital to lavish even the smallest areas with the same care and attention as larger more easily accessible panels.

This demonstrates the additional depth of colour and richness the ceramic coating brings to this type of wheel. The difference in black compared to the almost grey appearance where the ceramic coating has not yet been applied.

During removing and refitting wheels with center lock fitments, using the right tools and specific procedures is critical. It is essential that torque levels are achieved and the correct centre nut sockets are used to avoid any damage, this is certainly not a job for an impact gun!!.

This engine bay absolutely gives a sense of the raw power the 5.2l V10 can deliver, with the prominent cross brace holding the chassis rigid. Forged carbon panels dress the sides, the engine is framed perfectly.

The cockpit of the Huracan Performanté is like no other, making you feel like a fighter pilot about to take off. A myriad of luxury materials everywhere, with a blend of Alcantara, leather, and forged carbon fibre. Body coloured inserts for the dash personalise the interior, and the matching stitching completes the styling. Oh and a big red button, who doesn't love one of those!!.

The forged carbon splitter not only looks incredible, but is also a functional part of the car. Forged carbon fibre first appeared on the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento in 2010. In comparison to traditional carbon fibre, which is layered up, forged composites can create more complex shapes, while being even stronger and more flexible.
